We’re integrating Tectonic with Red Hat OpenShift

We are bringing the best of Tectonic to Red Hat OpenShift to build the most secure, hybrid Kubernetes application platform.

Tectonic Upgrades

AWS: Upgrading Clusters

Tectonic AWS clusters run in a static configuration. Use the latest Tectonic AWS documentation to create a new cluster and deploy your applications and services.

Bare Metal: Upgrading Clusters

Tectonic bare-metal clusters should be reprovisioned using the latest Tectonic bare-metal documentation. If you've setup your infrastructure as described, skip to step 4. Use the Tectonic Installer application. Then set your servers to PXE on the next boot and reboot.

ipmitool -H node.example.com -U USER -P PASS chassis bootdev pxe

Preserve & Restore etcd

If you'd like to preserve and restore etcd data to the new cluster, see the etcd disaster recovery guide.
